The short version: this site does not store information about you. Newsletter subscriptions are processed by MailerLite, which has its own privacy notice.

This website

jrhardcastle.com is a static site operated by J.R. Hardcastle (a pen name) from London, United Kingdom. The site does not set cookies, does not run analytics, and does not store information about visitors. There is no contact form or comments. The newsletter signup page loads MailerLite's embedded-form script and sends MailerLite a form-view request.

Server-level access logs may be kept for short periods by the hosting provider for security and reliability — these are operational logs, not analytics, and the site operator does not read or process them.

The newsletter

The newsletter is hosted on MailerLite. When you subscribe, the email address you enter is sent to MailerLite and processed on your behalf and on the publisher's behalf, and is governed by MailerLite's privacy policy.

Subscribing is free. You can unsubscribe from any email using the unsubscribe link in the footer.

The publisher uses MailerLite only to send the newsletter. Subscriber email addresses are not shared, sold, or used for any other purpose.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or another jurisdiction with data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data held about you. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email.
